Saif Ali Khan Stabbed with Knife 6 Times
Saif Ali Khan (54) battled his attackers while they robbed him in Mumbai on the 16th Jan 2025. Around 2.30 am, an intruder entered his Bandra home, triggering the fight in which Khan received several stab injuries.

His son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, then rushed him to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra around 3:30 a.m., where medical tests showed a foreign object lodged near his spine, and emergency surgery was required. The operation is to evaluate and repair trauma from the stabbing. Hospital authorities have since confirmed Khan is out of immediate danger and is recovering under medical observation.
Finger prints of the intruder are known to the police, 2.5 inch metal from the knife inserted near the spine of Saif has been removed by surgery .Intruder entered the home via staircase avoiding all cameras in the lift area. inrtuder attacked the house maid first , she shouted at 2.30am thats when Saif ran to her and tried to save everyone from the intruder , he had ashuffle with him , he attacked Saif 6 times , 4 injuries are minor but 2 injuries are major . At 3.30 am Ibrahim Ali Khan took a injured Saif in a Rickshaw to Leelavati Hospital.
Khan’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two children were not harmed during the incident. However, a female employee within their home was also assaulted, and is being treated for her injuries. The Mumbai police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused. The attack has raised eyebrows over security across the city, particularly in celebrity-dense suburbs such as Bandra. Some public figures and opposition leaders have urged for greater police presence to keep residents safe.
Khan, who appeared in more than 70 films and television serials, including this year’s “Adipurush,” had been ailing for some time. And in 2007, he was hospitalized after a mild heart attack. Recently, he also had tricep surgery in January 2024 to fix an old injury suffered on a film shoot.Kareena Kapoor Khan has released a statement saying that the kids and Kareena herself are not hurt and have stayed out of danger.
Saif Ali Khan is currently hospitalized and he had a early morning surgery which was successful, doctors are keeping a close watch on his recovery. Updates on his condition will be made as information comes to hand.
